What was your first ever job?
Delivering newspapers and working in a petrol station,
later on barman and deliverer of fine fish products to markets.
What was your favourite subject in school?
Physics

English and Castellano
How long have you been living on the Costa Brava?
16 years
What do you like to do in your free time?
I recently started to sail again, so spend as much time as I can on the water.
When did you start working with callCarlos?
Around 6 years ago
What attracted you to the job?
The constantly changing nature of the job.
What is your role within the company?
Organising small works to be completed by callCarlos
employees and external contractors involved in larger projects.
Above all, control of quality.
What did you do before callCarlos?
I was a site manager for building interiors after arriving in Spain
and before arriving, conservation officer for Museums and art galleries in Scotland.
If you weren’t working for callCarlos, what do
you think you’d be doing instead?
I would like to say professional sailor, but I think boat mechanic would be more realistic.
Best and worst moments with callCarlos?
As we conduct a lot of work while clients are not present at their houses,
probably the best moments are when they arrive to see the finished project.
Worst moments are when we have to pass bad
news on regarding issues in their houses.
If you could change one thing about callCarlos,
what would it be?
I really don’t know, everyone at callCarlos is allowed a voice and
so most changes which are mutually agreed, happen quickly.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I don’t imagine myself anywhere else. Lottery wins excluded of course!
I follow my heart so let’s see where that takes me over the next 5 years.
